Trip to Gatlinburg, TN

We have just gotten back from our trip to Gatlinburg, TN. The weather was just beautiful! It was like spring time until last night and it dipped down to the 20′s. Here are a few pictures we took. They had a chili cook-off one night but it was raining but still fun!

We had to take Max our Shih Tzu to the vet this morning to be put to sleep. It was and is so hard! He was 13 years old and had liver cancer. He is at rest now. We miss him so much!

This next picture is of my friend Judy’s booth. She makes the most exquisite soap. The best selling scents are Cranberry Plum and Lemon Grass Sage. She has quite a following. When you come to Apple Dumplin’ Antiques….be sure and ask for directions to her booth and take a look and smell of her soap.

NEW PICTURES OF ANTIQUE BOOTH

Went in earlier this week and we had a dealer booth “fluff”. Did it when the shop was closed. It is so much easier to do with no customers in the shop.

Another Vintage John Romain Handbag

Here is another vintage John Romain handbag purse. It is dated inside 10-86. All leather with an outside pocket and inside is one additional zipper side pocket. The handbag does not have a zipper closure on top but has metal inside the leather and it pulls apart and closes back together. Hard to explain but it is neat!

It measures about 13″ wide and is 6 1/4″ tall. It has a long strap for the handle…measuring about 20″ from your shoulder to the purse. It is in very good condition and is for sale for the amount of $50 plus shipping.
